Valentines Day Baby Shower

If you are planning a Valentines day baby shower, and looking for some simple recipe ideas for the cake, and you don't have a heart shaped cake pan, just take a couple of square cake pans and then shape the top of each cake layer into a heart.

If you have a bit of the artist in you, you could draw a picture of a mom-to-be and a baby with icing sugar, on top of any toppping you decide to put on the cake. Or, purchase cake decorations of a mom and a baby.

Here's an idea for heart shaped sandwiches. make your favourite sandwiches, then take a heart shaped cookie cutter and make a batch of heart shaped party sandwiches.
