Baby Shower Party Invitation

Don’t Forget the Specifics!

A baby shower party invitation may seem like a minor part of the overall plan for the event but it’s actually a chance for the planners and the mom-to-be to offer some information.

Of course the invitations will include, the date, the time and place of the shower. But why not use the opportunity to tell potential shower attendees about the mom, baby and plans?

You could, for example, include the expected due date or the planned delivery date.

Personalizing the invitation means that the recipient will have a keepsake of the event.

Remember to send them out well ahead of the shower date. With the busy lifestyle so many people lead these days, it’s best to give potential shower attendees plenty of time to plan.

A few decades ago, those planning baby showers often created a guest list then split up the list among several people and called all those on the list.

This saves on the cost of postage, though a written card means that fewer people will forget the specifics such as the date, time and place of the event.

You can of course make your own baby shower cards and you might like to write your own wording or poem
