Baby shower games are a lot of fun and something that guests have grown to expect and enjoy. They can break the ice and get people "in the mood" and having a good time.
If you need a baby shower game idea right away, here are a few traditional one's have been around for a Long time and stood the test of time.
WHO’s WHO Is pobably one of the oldest and most popular. Ask all the guests to bring a baby picture of themselves (or give it to you in advance). Take the baby pictures and tape them onto some paper or a board. Give each picture a number and each guest a piece of paper, have them match the adult name with the corresponding baby picture. The guest with the most correct matches wins a prize.
BABY SONG Guests sit in a circle or in a line and each guest has to sing a line from a song containing the word baby and when one guest is finished, the other next guest in line has 10 seconds start off with the next song. If a guest cannot think of a song, they are out. The last guest singing wins a prize.
DRINK UP Buy enough baby bottes for all your guests and fill them with about 4 ounces of water or juice. Hand them out and on the count of 3 they all start drinking from the baby bottles and the first one with an empty bottle wins a prize. (If you have a lot of guests you can divide them into teams and one person from each team wins the prize).
THE WORD BABY IS TABOO As each uest enters give them a diaper pin and let them know that for the length of the baby shower they must not use the word baby. As the shower gets started when someone accidentally says the word baby, the person who catches them saying it gets to take their diaper pin away from them. The person with the most diaper pins at the end of the shower wins a prize
RICEAND PINS In a very large bowl pour in a few bags of un-cooked rice and lots of diaper pins. Blindfold guests - one at a time – and see how many diaper pins they can dig out of the rice in 2 minutes. The guest with the most diaper pins wins a prize.
